Setting up an extra day for the cooking group you said? Sure!
On top of Fridays, we are so happy to offer you another chance to join this group on Thursdays from 11pm to 1pm. (Free, booking essential)
It is exciting to get together, to harvest vegetables, fruits and herbs from the garden that we are able to include in our cooking. Everyone is learning from one another and that’s a must!
Due to the current situation, the cooking group has been held outside on a barbeque and that has been much fun!
We want to reduce food wastage and be inclusive, that is why our recipes are vegetarian (or plant-based). Is it also about using what we would usually through away:
- We had a buddha bowl meal and learnt how to make hummus. We kept the aquafaba from the chickpea tin and had a lovely chocolate mousse.
- Oh no, bruised fruits! We dehydrated them and enjoyed them on waffles with edible flower and maple syrup the week after.
- Making guacamole for your Nachos? We have learnt how to grow an avocado plant from seed!
