Community Wellbeing - using play, green and blue spaces, and increased biodiversity to help keep people and our environment healthy.

NPF4 objectives met by these projects: Tackling the climate and nature crises: Biodiversity; Natural places; Play, recreation and sport; Health and safety; Tourism.

Create a network of blue and green spaces around Dunoon and Kirn, connected by core paths, that are managed for the benefit of community wellbeing and nature. Give each green and blue space a clear purpose. Use, maintain and develop these spaces in line with clear community and biodiversity objectives. Support the wider use of these spaces for enterprise, education, flood risk management and community health and wellbeing.

Explore the potential of employing a community green and blue space officer to support the development and management of these spaces in partnership with community stakeholders.
