Dundee punching above its weight…as usual! A small team of our gardeners from across the City travelled to Birmingham for the night to attend the Britain in Bloom awards ceremony. They swapped gardening gloves and wellies for posh frocks and fine dining. They received 2 Awards- Queen St & Shiell St Community Gardens and Ninewells Community Garden
Huge congratulations go out to Mary at Queen St and Shiell St community gardens. They won the New RHS Gardening with Young People Award.
Also Huge Congratulations to Jek, June and the team at Ninewells Community Garden. They won the RHS Gardening for Health & Wellbeing Award for the whole of the UK.
It is a huge credit to those involved for all the hard work they put in on a regular basis. We are proud to have them as part of the Network.
