Influencing Policy and our new Permaculture Project
We are getting the Network together in mid Jan for a chance to plan how we are going to build our collective knowledge and skills even further using the principles of permaculture. We are very excited to announce we have received funding from Foundation Scotland via Dundee Changemakers Hub. This will help us to plan how we can take practical actions to improve how our gardens work, using the principles of permaculture, framed by the ethics of earth care, people care and fair share. We have so many existing skills we can share.
We will then go on to plan our Vision for 2030 and how we can add our voice to the next Food Growing Strategy for Dundee City Council.
In between all that we will have a tasty homemade potluck lunch and will run a wee session to create a few hand made garden signs with messages about our favourite plants. All in a day's work at the Network!
