Camperdown Growing Collective (known as Campy Growers) is a SCIO working in partnership with Dundee
City Council in the heart of Camperdown Country Park. It sits on 8 acres of previously degraded land, 3
acres of which have now been cultivated. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a project that is
creating an urban community food garden using sustainable methods of growing to enhance the
environment and local food production, and to work positively with the community. The garden is
supported by a small, dedicated staff team, volunteers and trustees who work together to ensure that our
charitable aims are met.
We are looking to recruit a part-time administrative assistant for one day a week to support the smooth
running of our charity.
The post is funded for one year through National Lottery Funding.

Are you an organised person with an eye for detail and a talent for keeping things running smoothly?
Campy Growers is looking to recruit a part-time (one day a week) Administrative Assistant to provide vital
support to our team and to the efficient running of our charity.
You would work closely with trustees and existing staff to develop and maintain efficient operational
systems, including data base management, finance recording and diary management.
Although not front facing, you will be part of a team in regular contact with volunteers and partners on site
and will need to be able to manage your time effectively.
Job Summary To provide administrative support for trustees and staff
Key responsibilities
Finance
● Filing and raising invoices
● Maintaining QuickBooks
● Petty cash
Office support
● Administration for the veg boxes and deliveries
● Keeping track of spreadsheets used to record our activities (for example
inputting volunteer hours, chasing missing information, and ensuring GDPR
requirements are met for recording and storing personal data)
● Keeping paper systems up to date (printing forms, filing etc)
● Manage office supplies
● Keeping membership records up to date
● Other administrative tasks as appropriate
● Supporting the organisation of our campaigns, sourcing equipment, recruiting volunteers
Person specifications
Essential Requirements
● Good organisational skills
● Good IT skills, including a working understanding of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel,
SharePoint etc) as well as social media and email
● An understanding of GDPR, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in line with
data protection
● Excellent written communication skills, basic numeracy and computer skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Commitment to the charity's values of education, health, and environmental
stewardship
● Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
● Previous experience with QuickBooks
