Role:  Garden Volunteer.  Do you like people?  Do you like being outdoors?  Do you like plants and gardening?  Want to learn more about being in a garden and being part of a small friendly team?

Dundee Therapy Garden is a small mental health charity providing outdoor therapy to veterans and ex blue light personnel.

We are looking for people who want to get involved with growing and maintenance in the Garden.  There are so many elements to this.  You might enjoy sowing seeds and seeing plants grow, you might enjoy moving plants and digging holes, you might enjoy helping to create therapeutic areas for our service users.  The work is done at a relaxed and easy pace with plenty of time for tea breaks!  If the weather is too bad we can find indoor jobs in our polytunnel.

You can be flexible on the time commitment and the gardening jobs, but we would ask for a minimum of two hours per week.

Expectations: To come at scheduled time, to follow instructions from garden team, to wear appropriate clothing, to take part in the Garden environment.
