Garden Volunteer Just come along to the garden to meet us. Summer hours Mon 12-2pm, Thurs 11-3pm or Sat 10-2pm.
Do you like people? Do you like being outdoors? Do you like plants? Want to learn more about being in a garden? Wildlife gardening? Sustainable gardening techniques?
We are looking for people who want to get involved with fruit, veg and flower growing. There are so many elements to this. You might enjoy sowing seeds and seeing plants grow, you might enjoy moving plants and digging holes, you might enjoy helping to create raised beds, saving seeds or building a pond. The work is done at a relaxed and easy pace with plenty of time for tea breaks! If the weather is too bad we can find indoor jobs.
You can be flexible on the time commitment and the gardening jobs. You might just want to come along and observe to begin with.
Expectations: To come at scheduled time, to follow instructions from garden team, to wear appropriate clothing, to take part in appropriate Training opportunities.
