Victoria Gardens

We are a community garden situated in the old bowling green in the west end of Dundee. Our aim is promote environmental awareness and sustainability using as examples, offer people a place to relax, a way to engage with nature, to share what we know, learn new skills, spend quality time together and grow. With the support of local groups we are looking of provide quality and healthy food and to engage local people in community action.

Opening Times

Winter: Wednesday to Saturday 10am - 3pm. Summer: Tuesday to Saturday 10am-5pm

No cafe but refreshments available for volunteers.

Through workshops, on food pantry days, or ask coordinator Rachel when you're in for a visit.

Main gate at 301 Blackness road, old bowling green. We don't have parking and there is a small step up to the pavilion (where the pantry and toilets are located.) The gardens themselves are accessible.

Victoria Gardens Volunteers

Victoria Gardens is an exciting urban growing/social space located on the edge of Balgay Park. We have exciting plans for the space including a community kitchen and picnic benches.

Winter and Spring work parties at Victoria Gardens

We are meeting in the garden and tackling many jobs! From pruning to working on our mixed orchard, you can join in whether you have got lots of gardening skills or simply a willingness to get stuck in and learn. We'll also have time for a cup of tea, a sweet treat, and a wee chatter in the community pantry. Everyone is welcome! Hope to see you there!
